The two squirrels' minds were beginning to cloud to match their new forms, and the enchantments only accelerated this process. They didn't really understand fairy language anymore, though it was a language that lent itself well to instructing animals, so they continued to react instinctively to it. The fairies gave them new names, dubbing Frita "Beena" and Arion "Moppy." They came to learn these new sounds and realized that they were referring to them. The two settled among the fairies of their homeland, perhaps in a different way than before, but they still felt this was where they belonged. They were at length trained to do various tasks, such as serving as mounts for the flight-challenged among the fairies, scouting the forest, and simply behave themselves so the fairies could play with them. This whole process was very easy, even more than usual, as they already knew and understood what the fairies wanted and were very willing to cooperate, leading them to quickly become favored among all the animals enchanted by the colony.
