The Significance of a Name

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 119069

"D'Honaire," Fred said out loud. That name, why did it seem so familiar, so important?

"That name means something to you?" Astra said.

"Maybe. Not sure."

"Perhaps at one time you were a servant in the D'Honaire household? The Duke's son, Lord Frederigo D'Honaire, was a knight and is said to have been a great warrior. But a year or two ago he was sent to try to slay the dragon that lives in the caves deep below the mountain range that divides Allaria from Aqualaria - the very mountain range that we shall be crossing in a day or two's time - and was never heard from again. So it seems that he must have been one of the wyrm's many victims. Did you know him?"

  1. "I think so."
  2. "Maybe."
  3. "Don't think so."
  4. Suddenly, like water when a dam collapses, all Fred's memories were released. "More than knew him; I am him!"
