The magic, deciding abruptly that the only way to assuredly resolve whatever problem Belboz has entreated it to address is to erase all knowledge of it, swirls into all six minds in the vicinity, and then back out, bringing every speck of memory with it. And then are left three mares, two stallions, and a brand new foal, with no knowledge of where or who they are. Fisella's drive to slay the dragon is gone, as are Ulyen's years of imprisonment, and Belboz has no notion that moments ago he was a man. Their instincts, however, remain, and the foal sticks close to his mother, who bends over him protectively. Slowly the six begin to press forward to explore the unknown environment. After many hours, they find an exit, and the bright sun outside calls to them, inviting them to run free. And they do, tossing their manes in joy as they spill out through the exit and down the green hillside. They wander, and graze, and stay close to one another, for though they do not understand what they are, they know they are all the same - they are a family. They explore the beautiful landscape, and over weeks, they discover the safest places, the paths to avoid, the pools where they can drink. Though Fisella, Hanonlen, and Stellunira are less certain than the others, with each of them being only a part of a whole, they settle into this life. Eventually, Ulyen, being the strongest, rises as leader. Months pass, and they enjoy their simple lives. Belboz - whom we shall call by the unicorn name Brillio - began to feel something inside of him he did not understand as his magic returned to him. He tried to contain it, feeling it was dangerous and unpredictable, but he feared it. One day, after about six moons,
