Sympathy from Chris

Chris patted her sympathetically on the shoulder. "I know. It wasn't exactly fun to deal with the last time, either. Not for you or me. But, look, it cleared up on its own eventually, last time. Maybe it will this time, too." He cast an uncomfortable glance over at the other man. "Look, Ted, I, uh... I should really take her home..."

Ted, who had blushed a deep shade of crimson, muttered "Uh, yeah. Good idea." Stacy took a deep breath and said:

1. "Yes, that is a good idea. You can explain all the details of my life to me. From the look of things, some of them are rather... interesting..."
2. "Actually, I think I'd like an explanation of this little situation before I go anywhere with you."
3. "Um, don't you work here? Are you allowed to just leave in the middle of the day?"
