Fred froze, instantly understanding that such a potion would make it impossible for her to slay the dragon and complete her quest. Honour seemed to forbid her from drinking it. But then she would be choosing execution, which would be pointless, and also prevent her from completing her quest... That didn't seem like an option. The real question was whether to accept the potion, or continue to try to talk her way out of it. Arahim had clearly decided that she was mad, and seemed that he would never actually listen to her. She was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Could it be possible that she could still serve the realm, even if she could never fight? She felt tears prickling in her eyes.
