Unicorn Hostility

In the end, her new motherly instincts could not be ignored. All was not lost, however. Now bereft of their comfortable prison, all five (or three) unicorns had gone on full alert.

For the first time in years, the two groups that had formed huddled together as one. Their horns glowed with unicorn magic, feeding into and amplifying each other to become much stronger than the sum of their parts. In this way, their herd would be ready to defend against any threats that might leap out of the surrounding darkness.

As it happened, this threat turned out to be Belboz who had sensed a disturbance in his wards. Without knowing exactly what he would find, he entered the cavern and came face to face with some rather irate unicorns.

1. They clash, and Belboz is beaten.
2. They clash, and Belboz wins.
3. Belboz is taken by surprise, and the unicorns transform him into something a lot less threatening.
4. Belboz is taken by surprise, and the unicorns transform him into a unicorn like them.
5. Before anyone can do anything, the cave begins to rumble. The dragon has been disturbed.
