The poor girl almost buckled as her already confused mind suddenly began to spin like a whirlpool, all memories of her life as a knight being sucked away to some distant void, far from her tiny reach. Momentarily, however, she was able to right herself, blinking profusely. Her entire life flashed before her eyes - her life as the neglected sixteenth child of the elderly King Birch of the small forest kingdom of Nova. She was Princess Petunia, daughter of his third wife, and now she found herself standing before the feared Belboz the Necromancer. She trembled like a leaf before him, knowing that he was allied with the dragon, or at the very least had aided it in the past, and he said,
