The Truth Outs With Enough Time . . .

"Are you good with that?" Rei asks the until now silent human woman known as King Arthur, King of the Brits.

Luckily? The human being (with more and more traces of a changling nature creeping up by the minute) was GOOD with it. She HAD agreed to abide by certain conditions when given the sword pulled from the Stone. Things not mentioned, but was part and parcel of dealing with those of the Fey Folk, natch.

Of course, the truth comes forth since all things out with time...

Just as well, Rei wasn't sure how she would have gone about disputing some kind of contract problems with the Fairy kind, anyway. Not something that would have been easily done, anyway, with the time constraints.

Of course, the truth comes forth since all things out with time. And considering that five BILLION years have passed . . . Something to do with the fact that there was an audience who'd been watching this debacle AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN for all these years . . .

So? She just "rolled" with it.

And soon enough, Rei and the gang JUST "rolled" into the powder keg which is the truce between King Arthur's loyalists and Mordred's rebels. As in one particular story from Arthurian legend Le Morte d' Arthur, the adder which was about to bite a knight (allegiance unknown to the annals of time, not that Rei particularly cared at this point) instead finds itself being rather crushed by Rei's armored boot as she DROPS from on high and into Mordred's and Arthur's forces midst.

The getup that Rei and her sisters (the elder ones especially) get is eye-catching enough (or alarming enough), considering that they seem to be "rocking" the death knight theme with all the skulls and other motifs that the Imperium of Man seem to be so fond of here. It is pretty much a guarantee to draw more attention than the fact that both King Arthur (Arturia) seems to not only have made the scene but brought a bunch of twin sisters to the party!

Rei must admit if only to herself that their arrival upon her sister's spare magic carpet looked rather epic. Now if only their original one hadn't been damaged from that hassle of having nearly been incinerated by that one Excalibur blast back above that skyscraper earlier. The magic and technological shields had been enough to avoid vaporization, but some kind of feedback had damaged the larger (and grander) magical weaving of that carpet. Annoying even IF it had eventually netted them an ally in Rider...

Lancelot du Lac gets a few glances, and nervous ones due to his rather ragged/stressed-out appearance (something akin to a heroin addict if truth be told), but only a few.

However, The real show stopper here is the earth-shaking entry that was the three sons of the Greek thunder gods entry. Getting out of the small crater they'd made from jumping INTO the area was a real eye-catcher.

Well . . .that and the fact that they are ten foot tall MEN who looked like they'd been pumping iron even before conception . . .

"Oh Pardon Sir Knight!!" Rei said, smiling a slightly offputting smile. "I and my party are a Neutral Party that was tapped to sort out this little family squabble between son and father! Could you be a dear and make sure that Sir Mordred and HER party could come here as soon as possible for that, please? Rei suppresses a slight grimace at having to use Mordred's true (biological) gender here. While she was fine with just letting Mordred wishing to perceive herself as male, the fact of the matter that King Arthur/Arturia was too along in her changling cycle. It might cause . . .unfortunate issues even using "untruths" for tactful reasons right now.
