The Dragon?

Astra asks Fred, "but what of the Dragon? Surely you were sent here to fight and destroy it. Why are we retreating?"

"Milady," Fred answers, "rescuing you must take precedence. The Dragon, and its labyrinthine lair, are not going anywhere. Once you are safely home I will share what little intelligence I have gathered at the Royal Court and hence hie myself back to do battle with the Dragon once more, albeit forewarned --and thus forearmed, be it so."
