Who's My Real Father?

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 117533

Fred was completely bewildered by this statement, though there was too much information to assemble for her to understand exactly why. She just knew that something was very wrong. "Wh- wh-" but she couldn't struggle to the end of the question.

"I understand you probably think your father was a powerful wizard named Belboz," Marcelina explained gently. "And, well... there are a lot of details a little girl like you needn't to worry about..."

No! Fred wanted to scream. Tell me everything!

"...but Hannah, that just isn't true. I'm sorry he made you believe that. We're going to take you to your real father now, okay?"

"Ahh- aa-"

"Hannah, try to be calm," Marcelina said, sounding and looking worried. "You'll work yourself up to exhaustion. You're already very weak from your years in that basin and being transformed - please, you must calm down.

How could she be calm?! Belboz was the only one who knew of her situation, and she couldn't even ask where he was! She couldn't ask anything!

Unfortunately for Fred, it was even worse than she could tell: she didn't yet know what the full extent of the effects of her transformations would be.

  1. Her mind began to decline to the state of that of a six-year-old girl as well. Belboz had been precise enough to only de-age her body, but Marcelina was not as skilled.
  2. It would take a very long time, weeks or months, to re-learn basic things like fine motor skills and speech.
  3. She would need to stay hydrated to an extreme degree for some time as her body reacclimatized itself to being human.
