Hades, the Other Hell

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 117291

Hades is the Other Hell and the typical place where bad souls are sent to torment when Hell is not deemed sufficient or desirable in special cases. Hades is located in a pocket universe that is completely unrelated to regular Hell and Zyrock. But it is called the "Other Hell" because its torments are no less than actual Hell.

Fred was now in a horrifying landscape of twisted aberrations and dark shadows flitting from place to place. The landscape was blasted and parts of it were flickering in and out of view as they continuously switched from ethereal form to corporeal and back. Fred had a sick uneasy feeling which led him to notice some pale gaunt creatures with large eyes staring him down from high terraces above him, with a distant, disgusting city looming in the background. The sky was black but static-y as if the space beyond was changing constantly.

Fred felt something weird encroaching upon his thoughts.... WWWHEW. He wasn't thinking clearly. WWEW. What does Fred do now?

-----HISTORY-----

Hades was once a beautiful place created by Star Elves in their quest for tranquility. However, the Star Elves were changed and warped by the Dark Corruption which spreads to universes not sanctioned or protected from the Great Dark Beyond. The Great Dark Beyond is the space outside of existence which seeks to enter into any universe it can and corrupt its denizens into horror and darkness.

Hades became a bastion of Darkness and inhabited by corrupted Star Elves and later, by denizens from the Great Dark Beyond which had gained the strength to take spiritual form and dwell in Hades, lording over the tormented slaves they gathered there.

Heaven and Asgard both took notice, however, and sent their armies to nullify the Dark Corruption which dwelt within that pocket universe and prevent its spread, driving the evil denizens back to their Great Dark Beyond. After millennia of conflict and war, Heaven prevailed (Asgard had since withdrawn its forces due to civil war). Heaven banished every remnant of the Dark Corruption and then sanctioned Hades to protect it from further corruption. They attempted to restore the Star Elves, but the Star Elves refused and Heaven, respecting their decision, withdrew.

Though the Star Elves had been cured of the Corruption, its damage had been done. They would become known as the Pale Walkers who haunted the regions of Hades and eventually, the Wide Universe as well. At this time, another force began to take interest in Hades....the Xenomorphs. The Xenomorphs were strange alien creatures from the Plane of Madness. They were a race that had mastered madness and saw great potential in Hades to become their new physical realm. The Xenomorphs communed with the Pale Walkers who grudgingly granted them access to Hades, and it changed forever.

Due to its history, Hades is now a place of uncanny creatures, twisted aberrations and suffering. It is ruled by madness and confusion that not even the Pale Walkers can resist.
