The torturer gleefully erases Fred's memory with magic while he's restrained. Then, he breaks into Fred's mind and installs the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder module (patented by Wizards of the Coast, inc.) As a last touch, the Torturer gives Fred an imaginary quest to save himself from "the spread of corruption" that takes precedence over his original quest. "It doesn't matter where he ends up," cackles the torturer. "In the end, his new brain module will activate and drive him to insanity for eternity! HAhaHAhaHA!" "But what if he dies?" a guard asks skeptically. "ARREST THIS MAN AND BRING HIM TO MY CHAMBERS," the Chief Torturer screams, pointing at the guard who just spoke.
