Somehow, by a bizarre stroke of fortune on Fred's part and misfortune on Rick's, Fred now found himself in a knightly body - though not his own - once again!

And Rick? Well, Rick now found himself in the shape of a pregnant cow, and though that cow could speak, her brain was still, in fact, a cow's brain, and Rick quickly lapsed into panic, unable to process this turn of events.

Fred immediately fell to his hands and knees, unable to recall how to stand for a moment. He had spent a few years now as a cow and this would take some getting used to - not to mention working past the initial shock of it happening so unexpectedly. Eventually he stood up, staring at his hands, registering that they were not his own. He pulled a hair from his head and found it carrot orange, and conjuring up the blurry memories of his rescue mere moments before, he began to piece together what had happened, and stared at the shell-shocked cow across the room from him, finally asking, "Rick?"

"Fred?" said the cow, sounding terrified.

  1. The two remained steadfast friends and helped each other reason through the transition and their next move, to the best of their current ability.
  2. The brief exchange was cut short when they became aware of a terrible commotion outside.
