Being lost deep in the TARDIS for an hour had been frightening but Stacy soon found a friend. An old man, wearing winter weather layers. Naturally he had shared with her, for this section of the TARDIS was cold. The older man introduced himself as Wilfred Mott. Amateur astronomer and profesisonal newspaper seller. He knew much of the Doctor and the Master. He was careful with his timeline clues but Stacy soon realized he was far down the 'line' from the Doctor and the Master she knew. If that still meant anything anymore... Wilfred had entered the TARDIS with his own friends and a canine. A biological dog. But he had become separated. To him, there had been a timeline divergence. A Doctor, some regenerations away from the one Stacy knew, had gone mad with power. An opprotunity to save lives, well, to save one life, with a regeneration had come and in the normal timeline the Doctor did but in Wilfred's experience he did not and things had gotten much, much worse from there. And Wilfred had experience with the Master as well. Perhaps his catastrophe was connected to Stacy's catastrophe. Or perhaps not. Wilfred had heard tales of the Doctor's adventures second hand, and knew of many first hand, and it was quite possible, in his words, for two adventures to go on at once. Wilfred invited Stacy to come with him, to find his friends. According to pre-planned signals they were near. But, dear reader, let's step back from this for a moment. Were Stacy and Wilfred's catastrophe's connected?
