The images of the long hours of training flashed through Fred's mind. He took a deep breath in. It was all about breaking through the pain barrier. His old sensei had taught him that-
Fred shook his head. Whose memory was that? He'd never been to Japan. He was a medieval knight. He clapped one hand to his head, confusion striking him like a thunderbolt. Whose thoughts were they then? He searched back. No, he couldn't be Fred. Fred had died.. hadn't he?
Someone elses memories were infesting him. Spreading through the entirety of his mentality. And he knew who it was. Toby. Seditiously convincing Fred that he was no long Fred the knight, but instead Sir Toby, the suspiciously similar substitute.
But was now really the time to struggle with the identity crisis? Didn't Fred have a bear to escape from?
