  1. "We had felt your former self as an echo in your heart, and would be glad to restore you and provide you a boat, but we have no dominion outside the island, and so we cannot simply transport you home."
  2. "We are deeply troubled by what this man Belboz has done to you, and would be glad to make you into a man again, but we have no knowledge of your former shape so we cannot return you to it, but we will take mortal form to accompany you to search."
  3. "Regardless of your former life, you are now of the island, and we will not suffer you to leave."
