Stacy once again heaved the soda machine aside and opened the door a crack,
peering out very cautiously. It was quiet. Very, very quiet. She opened
the door a touch further and stepped out. Well, thought Stacy,
they seem to have gone. I hope Lee was able to follow them OK without
being caught. Since there seemed to be no black-robed maniacs in the
immediate vicinity, Stacy figured her best bet would be to make her way out
of the museum and go to the police herself, in case something had happened
to Lee. Stacy carefully made her way down the deserted corridors. She had almost arrived back at the more populated area of the museum when someone came suddenly around a corner and nearly plowed into her!
