Frieda stretched in her bed before getting up, fixing herself a simple breakfast, and getting to work on the dress she'd been charged to make by the minstrel for his wife. She was a skilled seamstress and she deeply enjoyed her work, but most of all her kingdom. She'd grown up in Allaria and never doubted that it was the perfect place to live.

a well-dressed wealthy-looking man, probably a traveling merchant. "Miss, I hear you're the best seamstress in town. I need you to make new clothes for my entire entourage and I'll pay you top dollar."

the baker's son, a shy young man named William. "Miss Frieda, it would be my privilege if you would accompany me to the festival tonight."

her best friend Lexa, who was sobbing.

a royal messenger. "Miss Frieda, I am sent by King Embron. He seeks your services. Should you accept, I will take you to the castle at once."
