Arion looked down at her in alarm, and she quickly clarified, "Not to stay there! Just... just to see. To find out what we left behind. Maybe to get answers."

"But I don't need answers," said Arion, puzzled. "I'm perfectly happy here, in Blueleaf, with you."

"Please, my love," she said quietly, and that got his attention - she rarely referred to him by anything but his name.

He considered her. "It's really that important to you?"

She nodded, desperate.

He thought a few moments longer, and finally said,

  1. "Then I shall do everything in my power to make sure Blueleaf is a perfect enough place to compensate."
  2. "Very well, morning glow. We shall spend rest from moonhigh to sunhigh and set off tomorrow afternoon."
