Frita smiled. There were too many festivals for her to keep track of, and she hadn't even been here a full year yet. "What does the Festival of Moondust commemorate?" "You're such a strange thing, Frita. It is the day of the year when moon fairies' powers are the strongest." Frita had come to learn that type of fairy magic was determined by the color of hair. Her own was rainbow; apparently rainbow fairies were very uncommon, but moon fairies were everywhere you looked. Celeste herself, bearing silver hair, was a moon fairy. Arion with his golden locks was a sun fairy, Taurill with his red was a fire fairy, and so on. "We will be putting on a show the likes of which you've never seen before and never will again!" Frita laughed. "Well, happy Day of Moondust, my favorite moon fairy." "Oh, stop," Celeste laughed. Soon the time of the festival arrived, and sure enough, a full moon smiled upon them. Frita had found that every festival had its own traditional type of food and drink and music, and it seemed at each one she ate and drank and danced more and more. She had never seen a fat fairy before she'd come to Blueleaf, but she herself was definitely beginning to grow a bit pudgy. She and Arion were taking a break from dancing to have some moondrink, and Frita was definitely getting tipsy, when it was time for the moon fairies' show.
