  1. Due to the help of the readings Arahim had taken of Fred before he departed for his quest, this was quick and successful work.
  2. They knew they could manage it but soon realized that it would take much, much longer than previously thought. They asked Fred's permission to put her to sleep for the duration to make it easier on both her and them.
  3. Unfortunately, they failed in this endeavor too, and began to suspect there was some greater trickery afoot.
