The employee carefully listens to her questions, then cracks up. Stacy's
heart fell. "Ha, haw, Stacy, you goober. I told you not to take so many of those anti- migraine drugs. You'll forget to order next week's G.I.Joe and Justice League if I didn't remind you. You're such a dunce. Heh. Oh yeah, some mail came. I went upstairs and put it through the mail slot. Have fun. I'll see you in a few hours." He slid a housekey on a big purple blob across the counter. The employee laughed again and he sidled to the left. A small brown door, that blended into the brown wall, was opened. A wide staircase went up. Stacy walked up, nervous and confused. She came to a wide foyer, done in oak and with a wide sunroof. To the left was a freight elevator. To the right was a white door with a mail slot. Stacy unlocked the door and went in. The wide loft apartment was sparsely furnished. The comic books in boxes took up more volume, seemingly, then the rest of the stuff. Fortunately some of the stuff were framed pictures on a table near the apartment's single window, a wide picture one. The framed photos showed Stacy with a wide assortment of people, including the crazy employee downstairs. Stacy fell into a green recliner and rubbed her eyes. What a crappy day.
