Marjora was wearing a ratty brown tunic like the ones they gave prisoners. But more than that... she was not herself. She stared down at her body, dumbstruck. A guard alerted the king that the intruder in the gardens had woken up, and presently he arrived to question the young man. He reminded him very much of his daughter, and wondered if he was a relative. The situation was all very strange, and climbed straight into the territory of "alarming" when they realized that Marjora was nowhere to be found. "Father," the youth said desperately immediately upon his arrival. He scowled. "Do not trifle me with your patent lies or ridiculous stories. Tell me who you are, how you got into my gardens, and where my daughter is." "Father, I am Marjora," the lad said tearfully. "Ask me anything and I will prove it to you." The king stroked his beard, but he relented. The boy passed every test put to him. The king was amazed.
