Elise was trying to move with mounting panic when her surroundings melted away to soon reveal the inside of the potions room in Belboz's tunnels. Her dress was slipping off of her but she couldn't even grab it to pull it back up. She was so stiff and to her horror her skin appeared impossibly smooth, her navel having disappeared, her breasts flattened. She couldn't even lean over far enough to see her feet.

  1. She also realized that it was difficult to breathe, and everything inside her hurt. In fact, because the transformation had been stopped midway through, she was quickly dying.
  2. She felt only stiffness and panic.
