He was in the middle of a forest, and it was dark out. He ran--well, more like stumbled drunkenly--through the trees as fast as he could, but quickly became exhausted. This new form had no stamina at all. He ended up tripping over a tree root at one point, and just... not getting up again. When he finally woke up the following morning, Fred felt very sore but quite lucid. He groaned, rolling over, and immediately noticed that several things were very wrong. First, that he was nearly nude. Second, that he appeared... not to be a he. Fred sprang to his feet and looked wildly around. His memories of what had happened were hazy, and it all seemed so strange that he questioned how much had been real. He had to find a way to look at himself. Though, looking down at this new body, he could already tell quite a lot. He--or rather, she--felt like weeping.
