Stacy and Manna had an enjoyable time walking over to the FBN. Stacy
learned Manna had a couple days off from her job running a beer
distribution warehouse. Manna also understood Stacy's nervousness and
reassured her that if Stacy wanted her to, she'd fade away and never come
back. Stacy didn't sense any hostillity from her though (but was still
majorly weirded out to realize she could sense hostillity, fear,
excitement, if it was there).
Halfway there, Stacy also asked how Manna knew about the late night show but didn't recognize Stacy. Seems that the truckers and what not at the warehouse loved that show to bits. 'Sides, David Rabbitman made them drool. Stacy came back to the present. The stairs were at a low angle, about twenty of them, leading to a wide open space. To the right, a tree lined walkway led to the parking garage. To the left, another ramp led down to a street filled with fancy shops of all kinds. There were about five support pillars supporting a sign declaring this was the Furry Broadcasting Network. Most of the front of the building was fifteen foot high glass, darkened to show reflections of the streets. Suddenly they were surrounded. Five bulky men, two lion morphs and three canines, broke off from the crowd and stepped up to Stacy and Manna. "Forward." growled a canine. Stacy quickly looked left to right. No one was staring.
