So Fred explained to the three of them just what had transpired, up until the moment the wizard took hold of her body, at which point things got extremely foggy. By the time she reached this point in the story, the wizards in particular were red with anger. "The nerve of him," spat Arahim. "The gall! Just hearing that he transformed you was bad enough, but this scheme of his... It is a disgrace to the power he wields! As soon as we can, we must report this to the Council of High Sorcerers and have him brought to justice." "But first, you must do whatever you can to restore my friend," Rick interjected. They both nodded, attempting to calm down. At length Mertix said, "I believe we should attempt to extract Belboz and place him in a bottle. I have a few such containers for occasions like this." He departed to retrieve one, and returned promptly. The ceramic bottle he held was cool to the touch and a fine creamy color. "Almost too good for him," Arahim said resentfully. "But no matter. Let's do this. Fred, I must ask that you first lie down. We are going to induce a deep sleep on you to quiet your mind down. It will make the spell considerably easier and safer." Naturally (or supernaturally), Fred was happy to comply. Soon enough she was sleeping peacefully on the floor. Rick looked on anxiously while the two sorcerers began their work.
