The American Naval Destroyer regrets it cannot make the trip to Camp David. The crew had hooked it's systems too deep and too far into the power systems of Belize City. The Shannon Lucid literally powered a children's hospital and forty-seven food service vital to the survivors. And even then they didn't want to risk a breakdown in the middle of the ocean with literally no other known Naval ships to offer rescue. The Camp David survivors and the Shannon Lucid people are terrifically happy to have found each other, of course. Military codes are passed allowing access to functioning military satellites. This meant the orbiting hardware would now allow more resources dedicated to communication channels. In the past this would risk enemy forces listening in but who cares now? Russia had been obliterated, coast to coast. Anyway, back to the exploration.
