Of course, faeries absolutely adored flowers. They would take good care of this one, taking turns carrying it, and supplying a steady stream of magic to provide it the necessary nutrients.

With that, the flock of faeries took again to the skies.

They had a very long journey ahead of them, another year or so, but once it was over, they would be home. The group was in fact in large part Queen Amaralis's entourage, but the Queen was kind and did not turn away any other faeries who wished to join her. As such, the group was exceptionally large and diverse.

  1. After a very long journey, they arrived at the grand castle of the Faerie Queen.
  2. At some point during the journey, the faeries dropped the flower into the woods below and could not locate it again. They carried on; meanwhile, the flower took root.
  3. Due to cold weather and a shortage of clothes, the faeries were forced to take the flower apart to create coats. They intended to put it back together to restore the human female when they arrived, however.
