Crash site

"Walk in the park," said Stacy.

"Open the pod door please Maya," said Astra.

"Door opening."

"Here," said Astra, "you take the overalls and the shoes." without bothering to put on any clothes, Astra stepped out onto the wing of the craft and stretched. She jumped down on the the forest floor and strode out to the river and dived in.

Stacy put on the overalls and the shoes. The clothes were sized for Astra and so were a bit long in the leg but otherwise were perfectly comfortable. She climbed out of the pod and had a look around. The air was warm and humid. They had landed in a clearing bounded by huge trees. Lush vegetation covered the ground except for a wide scar where the craft had churned up the ground on landing. She picked up the two rifles and jumped down to ground level.

Astra emerged from the river, smoothing back her wet hair. Her otherwise hairless body glistened and droplets of water streamed down her tanned muscular body.

"It's beautiful," said Astra looking up at the birds whirling and diving in the blue sky.

"Yes, beautiful," said Stacy not taking her eyes off Astra's body.

Astra saw that Stacy had got the rifles out of the craft. "So what equipment do we have?".

"These two carbines, the clothes I'm wearing and these." Stacy held up both hands, each holding half of Astra's skimpy leather two-piece. "Only one pair of shoes between us."

"Leave that to me," said Astra.

She climbed up to the capsule and started ripping apart the leather seats. It took a while but when she emerged she had strips of leather wrapped around her feet to form makeshift footwear. She was otherwise naked.

"What do you think?" she asked.

"It's a good look," said Stacy. "But you might want these." She threw Astra her leather bra and loin cloth.

"You know what I really want?" asked Astra putting on her bra.

"What do you want," said Stacy looking into Astra's eyes.

"Something to eat. I'm starving?"

Stacy smiled. "Hey Maya," she shouted. "Where's the nearest Burger King?"

"I found 24,524 Burger Kings. None of them are fairly close to you. The nearest is 13.4 light years away."

"Oh well," said Stacy. "It was worth a try."
