When Stacy woke the next morning, she didn't have the hangover that she might have expected. She could probably thank the happy juice for that, she imagined. She wondered what drug was the active ingredient. Whether it was because of the happy juice or the alcohol that she had had, she could remember partying deep into the night, and hearing a clock somewhere striking midnight, but that was the last thing that she could recall.
Only then did she open her eyes. Enough early morning light was coming in through a window to show her that she was in a comfortably furnished bedroom strewn with bottles and glasses, some of them still half-full. She was naked, and lying on the largest bed that she had ever seen. Lying next to her was an equally naked Astra, still fast asleep. Stacy would have been only too happy to have been sharing a bed with Astra; the problem was the three other nude people who were lying on the other side of Astra. One was Haruto. The other two were the young woman wearing only body paint and the smooth-chested man. All three were still asleep. She supposed that there must have been something of an orgy last night. Slowly and carefully, so as not to wake anyone, she got out of bed and went to freshen herself up in the en suite bathroom. Then she looked for her clothes.
