Thoroughly trussed up as she was, fighting the two men was clearly out of the question. Stacy knew she would need to wait for a much better opportunity. Besides, she had been guilty of underestimating the fighting ability of the two men once, and she didn't intend to make the same mistake again. She decided to pretend to still be unconscious. That way the men might speak more freely, and she would have a better chance of finding out what they intended to do with her. She hastily closed her eyes, hoping that her abductors hadn't had a chance to notice that they had been open when the basket was opened.
The two men lifted her out of the basket and put her down on what felt like a concrete floor. "Ow! Lifting her really hurt my bad arm," one of them complained. "You were lucky. At least you only have bad bruising. She could easily have broken your arm. I'd happily have swapped places with you. After an hour, my balls have only just stopped aching. So what are we going to do with her?" "We could ransom her. Her ISP would probably pay good money to have her back. Of course, that's risky. They might call in the police. Or we could sell her to this Dark Blade outfit." "I thought they just wanted her dead?" "They'd probably pay a substantial amount for the opportunity to kill her." "We could just hand over her dead body." "When they would have no incentive to give us anything. But it sounds like having any dealings with them could be highly dangerous, given what we've learned. So the wisest thing might be just to put a bullet in her brain right now, and not try to make any money out of her. What do you think?"
