"WELL, WELL, WELL," boomed the dragon. "WHAT HAVE WE HERE?"

Melissa looked up at the dragon that towered over her. "Oh, there you are. I wondered when you'd turn up." She looked down at her armor and sword then back up at the dragon. "I think I'm here to slay you."

"No, that's me," said Fred. "You're the maiden in distress, remember?"

Melissa looked again at the sword and then at Fred's naked body and then up at his chains. "I don't think you'll be slaying anyone. I think you'd better leave that to me."

"AHEM," said the dragon, clearing his throat. "THIS ISN'T GOING TO BE A FAIR FIGHT!"

"Oh I don't know," said Melissa. "You look like you're in pretty good shape. Don't put yourself down."

"NO!" growled the dragon, "THAT IS NOT WHAT I MEANT. AREN'T YOU AFRAID OF ME?"

"Not really," said Melissa. "Should I be?"

"I HAVE TALONS AS STRONG AS STEEL."

"Meh." said Melissa shrugging.

"I CAN BREATHE JETS OF FLAME!"

"Could be worse."

"I WILL EAT YOU!"

"I don't think so," said Melissa, raising her sword.
