The mugger lay motionless after being hit on the head by the motorcyclist who was next to him, bleeding out and dying having being shot. Stacy and Jacob stoond over them, slightly shell shocked about what just happened. Suddenly the mugger jerked up and stabbed Stack in the leg with a needle he had concealed in his hand.
The bodyguards shot again, this time blowing the mugger's head off, a dark red spray splattering the metal shutters of the Burger King. "Are you okay?" asked Jacob. "Yes, I'm fine." Everything starts to go dark and Stacy stumbled, suddenly dizzy. She fell to the floor and everything went black. * * * Stacy awoke in what looked like an operating theater, bright lights and people in green overalls and surgical masks standing over her. What had happened? Looks like Jacob had got to her hospital in time before anything really bad had happened. She tried to get up but realized her hands were bound at her sides. A man bent over her. "I think she's awake," he said. He pulled his mask away from his mouth so she could see his face. It was Jacob. "Hello Stacy. You gave us a bit of a run around after you escaped, but you're back here safe and sound. Now it's time to complete what we started. Scalpel please." A masked woman put a scalpel in his open hand and Stacy looked in wide eyed horror at the gleaming blade.
