Is That Me?

"What have we here?" He said, pulling out something.

Stacy looked over his shoulder to see a polaroid photograph of a the top half of a woman with bare shoulders and back, tangled, dark curly hair in the act of spewing out a bucket load of vomit.

"That's disgusting," said Stacy. Then it dawned on her. The woman in the photo was the face she had seen reflected in the window earlier on today. "Is that...?"

"Yes," said Jacob, "that's you. So you don't remember this happening?"

"Well, no," said Stacy. "But I find it very disturbing that this man has my photo."

"Are you sure you don't know him?" asked Jacob.

Stacy didn't want to let Jacob know that she didn't only not remember the photo being taken or even throwing up but that she really remember anything at all. Was this incident the key to her amnesia? Had she been drugged? In which case what else had been done to her that she didn't remember? She shuddered at the thought of what an unscrupulous man could have done to her while drugged. Maybe better not to remember.

"Hang on," said Jacob, "What's this?"

What had Jacob just noticed?

1. There was something surprising in the background of the photo
2. There were more photos of Stacy, even more shocking than the first
3. The photo had come alive
