"That was stupid, Lady." said the man. "Now you'll have to die."
The other customer stood up and slowly advanced. The employee vaulted the counter with one leap. His foot knocked over plates and napkin holders but he did not notice.
Stacy backed away. "What the hell? If you didn't want me to learn...about aliens...why did you have me read the book?"
"It was subliminable programming, you nitwit!" said the customers. "Just five more seconds and your Commander Shirac personality would have been in complete control! Now you screwed it ALL UP! What a damn waste! What a damn waste..."
Stacy realized that whatever was going on, it didn't seem to be what these two psychos thought it was.

  1. She ran.
  2. She fought the two people and defeated them.
  3. She fought and was subdued.
  4. She was rescued by the blue-skinned resistance.
