A New Sort of Companionship

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 112511

Before, Susan frequently asked for updates on the potion to restore her knightly form. However, outside of these questions, there had never really been any evidence to suggest she had once been a knight and lord. She was a lovely, beautiful, kind, gentle young woman, very feminine in both appearance and manner. But because of those questions, this illusion couldn't quite assert itself.

Inside a week after Charlie accidentally stacked six decades on top of his companion, those questions stop. Susan is simply a grandmotherly old woman who treats him with immense care and kindness and frequently forgets where she left her spectacles. Soon enough, Charlie finds himself going for several-day spans of time without even thinking of her original form. And he begins to wonder if she even remembers.

But he's not about to ask--he has been too long without anyone, and the love of a grandmother is not something he would be so quick to jeopardize. There is no reason to complicate this even further. If there's a way they can carry on without addressing the messiness that led up to the current situation, all the better.

A few months pass before

  1. Susan has a gentleman caller.
  2. Susan decides to register in the annual baking competition.
  3. Susan becomes very lost on a walk outside and ends up leaving the village behind.
