Waverly had no choice in the matter at all. She felt her brain and her heart being tugged at and reshaped, and suddenly she began to see the man in a new light. No longer was he a bland, gangly land walker. He was an admirable man who had risen above the disadvantages of his birth and found his way to the ocean anyway. He was also incredibly good-looking. "What else would you ask of me, Henry my sweet?" she asked dreamily. Henry blinked at her, apparently unable to believe it had worked, and gave it some thought. "Hey, this isn't a wish, but if I were to use my last one to make you human, would you marry me?" Waverly knew, in the back of her mind, that this was her own magic working against her.
