The Never Ending Quest - Episode 11222

Ensign Cain and his Alaskan Husky Morph counterpart are trading blows with two Romulans. The aliens were dressed in ancient battle garb but fortunately had not drawn their swords.
Suddenly, bright gold missles erupted from all corners. Each Romulan went down under a pile of Engineers.
"OH GOD!" screamed someone with a tail...

--- "How are they?" said both Captain Janeways as they marched into Sickbay.
The human doctor stopped them at the door. "No worries." he said. "The Cain Ensigns have been treated for facial contusions and broken bones. Ensign McClellan will be off duty for a week as his stomach wound heals but he is fine also."
"Has either Cain said where the Romulans came from? Scans in Engineering show nothing."

  1. Both Ensigns are under due to meds. They -will- be fine, but if they accidentally speak in the next two hours, there will be terrible nerve damage. The Doctor over-rules the Captain about waking them up.
  2. Furry Cain says the warp engine interacted with an unique star they had passed, opening up a rift.
