From what Scott could see the from the lobby, the place had been turned into a serviceable home. But from Scott understood of this realm, chaos and madness ruled society more than law and order. Why was this place untouched?

  2. Most of the world was messed up, yes, but mankind had made a strong effort to rebuild from this very point.
  3. It was a trap! Raiders kept this place nice to fool travelers.
  4. Scott ventured deeper into the library to investigate why it was so well preserved.
  5. Scott looted the lobby of everything not nailed down and ran off to the local settlement to sell it.
  6. Two women with two adopted five year olds came into the lobby from outside for shelter.
