"Uh . . .by any chance do you Champions come from a world known as Terra Prime or at least know another Champion who’d a female were-ogre named Fre'?" Rin asks, having the oddest look on her face. ”Rin I kind of already said they came from Terra Prime,” Archer coughed, reminding her since she seems to have forgotten that. Most likely due to the fact of having discovered unwelcome news about her sister . . . ”Yes to both,” Rei answers, meanwhile, with only a slight pause from the unexpected second question. ”Just out of curiosity just how did you know about her?” Fred Takahashi put in, wondering if just maybe Archer has (again) been telling of things out of class. This time through the telepathic connection that Servants seem to have with their Masters, maybe? “I know for a fact that I and my group never mentioned Auntie Fre, I should add.” A quick glance over at Aslan with a question look only gets a slight shake from the noble lion’s head at the unasked question, along with a softly muttered: “I’ve done too much already as it stands” in way of a non-answer. ”She-she was one of my favorite ‘Fred D’Honaire’ transformed story characters in the Betrayal at Bookpoint segment of . . . fantasy novel series I . . .er . . .read off and on It doesn’t mean anything, though and . . .” The two magus adults who’s been listening with half an ear to Rin’s explanation whilst attending to their unconscious teenage children give Rin an odd surprised look, which seemed to somehow have caused Rin to sputter at the end and deny something about liking Fre’ ”Well, a actual series of books about Terra Prime and the Champions instead of random bits of html pages that’ll turn up from time to time from wilderspace in the Net?” muttered Fred Takahashi to himself, as Rin sputters . “And she likes that particular analog sister of mine, eh? Hm….” Looking at Rin’s embarrassment over the attention she had garnered with the adult maguses (magi?), and while Fred wasn’t sure about it he’d be willing to bet that the “thing” that Rin was denying any importance about had everything (or at least something) to do with Fre’ and her being interested in only the company of ogresses than ogres (which carried over to the company of woman rather than men) even to this day. That part of the magicks that had crafted Fre’s ogress personality into what it had been had lingered on even after Fre’ having regained her memories as a human being and by the time she had mentioned some concern about it (since she had been most definitely heterosexual in orientation while a human man), it had been WAY too late to do anything to undo the changes. Fre’ had become “niched” because the alterations had burned in by the time she’d become a Champion. Magicks to change it back wouldn’t work without risk of brain damage (albeit temporary due to Champions being able to eventually recover from any injury) because . . .the alterations to her structure of her mind that Elain had intentionally would return to their altered state even IF Fre’ felt like doing something about it. Fred wasn’t sure even to this day what to exactly feel about that. It had been the choice that Fre’ had made of her own free will and what she’d become comfortable with, along with the fact that lesbianism in Aqualaria (an Amazon nation) was hardly a thing to be looked down upon even in their darkest times. That onus had belonged to what the reaction had been to homosexual men being discovered . . . But on the other hand it had been done to was an brain alteration from outside of herself, against her will… Like how several of his analog sisters had been magically transformed into young girls (named Hannah). The mind shouldn’t be a mage’s (or scientist’s) plaything. That was a sentiment that both he and his wife whole heartedly agreed upon. Still, by the time anything could be done to undo the alterations, it was WAY too late! Again, Fred just sighed and opted on just accepting it and letting go (again), for now. Still… “Goodness, is that series of fantasy books still popular even a decade after the last Grail War?” Irisviel von Einzbern muttered to herself. “Was always a fan of that quirky Jarlath fellow and his two wives….” ”Two wives?” the Brigadier asks blankly, not having expected that little factiod. The idea of something of a harem situation being prevalent (or at least accepted somewhat) in this Fate/Stay Night world these cartoon like beings haled from wasn’t surprising to the Brigadier. If nothing else after inadvertently having a hand at UNIT buying the anime studio from Japan who’d created Neon Genesis Evangelion in a desperate quest in following any and all leads to thwart yet another dire scheme of the Master to destroy the Earth, he’d been introduced the ins and outs of the anime business. The fact that Rei’s family back on Terra Prime (something of a more traditional fantasy based world) would have such a thing had been unexpected for him. Then again, during his discussions with Aslan to learn more about Rei and her kin that had never come up in conversation. That and by the slight sigh and shake of his head by the Great Lion when the Brigadier looked his way pretty much said “don’t ask”. At least don’t ask HIM, anyway. ”I preferred Annafrid myself since she was plucky and all that,” Kiritsugu Emiya muttered, remembering the series that he’d introduced Irisviel to in order to get her acquainted with the modern world since . . . parts of it take place there. He never really gave much credit to rumors that the rather prolific mystery write for the fantasy series happened to be some high up noble from the Clock Tower. Frankly, the idea was absurd since traditional Magus loath modern technology and the author was VERY techno-savy. No, it was much more believable that the Clock Tower had some hand in introducing the Gothic Lolita and other Edwardian clothing styles through Japan in order to . . . Well, in order to not stand out a such sore thumbs when they go about in their antiquated cloth styles in their continued defiance to embrace modern times (and technology)! Otherwise? They’d stick out like sore thumbs… IDIOTIC sore thumbs! “Oh yes, Auntie Jenny had been trying to help prevent certain misunderstandings between Jarlath, Annafrid, and Astra and make for smooth relations with her psionic power,” (re: episode 13273). “It rather worked out quiet a bit MORE than she’d hoped for and all three of them got soul bonded basically amongt other things.” Things like alterations to sexual orientation for Astra, since it the other Astras (as it turned out) were not . . .bisexual. Annafrid was a whole different story, but that is by the by and not for casual sharing. Just in this case since the story come up with the Nasu folks, the Brigadier at least deserved something of an explanation. She was rather embarrassed how it happened by mistake. From then on she’d been MUCH more careful (and had taught Rei and her sisters a thing or two about proper use of psionic powers). ”Never a dull moment with you is there,” the Brigadier sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose after having it somewhat hastily explained. Oh, he was an open minded man and all that but still!! ”Uh, anyway that is how you know about Terra Prime I see,” Lilith coughed, dragging the discussion back to the task at hand. “Since you didn’t seem to have recognized us all I’m assuming either . . .” ”Rider, what in the Hell is going on?!” a certain red headed protagonist who’d teleported in unexpectedly with the Caster sisters interrupts the white haired woman in mid question. “Where are your mystic eye killing glasses? And . . .where’s Sakura?! Did Kaleidoscope do something here to bring other timeline twins AGAIN to mess with us?!” Rider blankly stares at Shirou (the one that had been talking with her like a long known companion instead of a Servant who’d been Hell bent until just recently in killing him), not quiet sure what to make of this one. She then looks back at Lilith and Rei with a questioning look. “Your analog sister in his route,” Rei said from where she sat, gesturing at the man in question. “She lived through the Grail War and beyond and lives with Sakura and him in his place. Wears special magic glasses that neutralizes your petrification gaze. Works a LOT better at blending in with more mundane people since it would be rather hard to explain realistically why you’d be able to walk about without bumping into things while wearing that blindfold mask of yours, eh?” “As for the other question you’re not asking me here you’re going to have to bloody well ask him about it,” Rei adds in consternation. “It’s kind of a private and personal matter I am rather NOT comfortable having poked my nose into with the Game Guide as it stands, thank you!”
“Shirou . . .don’t you remember earlier what happened up at the temple?” the Saber from what I believe is the ‘Heaven’s Feel’ route asks the newcomer Shirou. . . . I Must set up the computer ally designator to update here with all the analogs around here to not get them mixed up. That and get some kind of better shorthand than the “Servant of such and such” route. Too awkward. ”It looks like a side effect of the cleansing spellwork that freed Saber from being Saber Aler,” Reika mutters to herself, remembering half remembered data from the briefing on the Quest earlier on from that Higher Up just a bit ago. Nice and thorough those kinds of briefings were, but if not done with Higher state of conscious being done they would have taken something akin to two months to complete. Two months straight, without time for bathroom breaks, or meals. Or sleep… “We’ll . . .do that later if . . . at all,” Rider mutters to herself, ignoring Reika for the moment for being distracted by the beginnings to get the idea what kind of ‘relationship’ might be going on here with her analog, Sakura, and this red haired teenager. A threesome. She wasn’t adverse to such things herself but . . .this was NOT the kind of thing to just casually discuss in front of strangers she’d more or less just met. Especially since it would probably embarrass her true Maser, right? Er . . . .her analog’s true Master. Whatever. “This . . .is kind of complicated,” the other Shirou begins. “It kind of involves a race of aliens with powers akin to what the Mage of the Second Magic has . . .” Of course, this explanation between red heads get interrupted by the other sleepers awakening...
