Sir-Toby's Plan

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 110689

The Gods and Goddess were baffled at how no matter how much they scoured the earth, they couldn’t find a trace of Sir-Toby anywhere. The tools and tricks a deity had at their disposal should have made him easy to locate, but it was as if he had simply vanished from the world.

That’s because, in a way, he had.

In Episode 28130 (only two episodes ago), Sir-Toby used his supernatural powers to enter The Never Ending Quest to fight and ultimately kill Zeus. Rather than returning to the real world and facing a bunch of gods and goddesses who wanted to kill him, he stayed in the Never Ending Quest. Looking at some data and records about the site, he successful found his way to the most deep and isolated episode on the entire website, hidden behind episodes that were both so boring and poorly written that it was extremely unlikely that any writer would have the patience to make their way through them and stumble upon his location.

The Episode that he was hidden in featured a small hut in a secluded winter forest. However, the writer had no concept of realistic building space, so while the outside made it appear tiny, it was extremely large and spacious on the inside. The writer also had no concept of continuity, so even though the last sixteen episode had been in a fantasy setting, he inexplicable gave the cabin a working TV, a personal gym, a kitchen with a fridge and freezer full of frozen foods (most of them pizza based), and a high-end coffee maker. The cabin still maintained some traditional fantasy touches, including a fire place, an old-style clock, a weapon’s closet full of medieval weapons, and an outhouse (Sir-Toby would have gladly traded the coffee maker for a modern toilet, but he didn’t pretend to understand the writer’s mindframe when he wrote this episode).

In the six months that had passed since he went into hiding, he had been almost as restless as the deities looking for him in trying to figure out a solution. He juggled a number of different solutions in his head but was uncertain which ones-if any of them-would work. In the meantime, while deciding, he took advantage of the personal gym to increase his muscles, build up his stamina, and be in the best shape possible for when he had to leave the episode.

He knew the time had come to decide when the TV news reported what the gods and goddesses were doing to the earth and its people. He didn't want to be stuck in a hut with diarrhea-inducing food but no flushable toilet for the rest of his life nor did he want to return to a world where Harry Potter 8 could never be written or he had to worry about the black dragonfish whenever he went to the beach. He had to put an end to this.

Bulked up, wearing the same clothes he was wearing six months ago, and with a damn fine latte in one hand and a pepperoni hot pocket in the other, he looked over the plans he had come up with, all laid across the table. Ultimately, he decided that the best plan was...

  1. Travel through the Never-Ending-Story to find Dead Fred's body and use it to revive Zeus.
  2. Use his Supernatural powers to trap the deities into the Never-Ending-Story forever, rendering their powers in the real world useless.
  3. Find a way to make Kratos from God of War III come to life and kill the gods and goddess.
  4. Get in contact with another religion's deities and convince them to fight the Greek ones.
  5. Go back in time to stop the Greek Gods from ever getting their powers.
  6. Turn himself in. There was no other way. It was the only thing that could stop them.
  7. Suddenly, something new but brilliant occured to him at the last minute.
