Apparently the disguised radiation research facility had developed an amazing leap forward in technology. A wearable loop of circuits and chemicals that eliminated all radiation in a ten foot bubble around the human body. Such a thing would be society-changing in this post-apocalypse word.
Scott discovers the access tunnel but there is a problem.

  1. Three guards.
  2. A keypad.
  3. Five locks and an angry Silverback Yorkie.
  4. It's half collapsed.
  5. There are murderous ghouls on the other side of the door (there's a window).
  6. Turrets and traps and big pits of smelly chemicals.
  7. Raiders on the other side, flipping off the camera feed.
  8. It's all the way collapsed.
  9. Several other people have gotten there moments before and are shooting at things inside.
