Krissy's Quest

Krissy doesn't much like or trust this old man with the dry-as-dust voice, but then again... he does seem to know things. "So what are you thinking here."

"I shall summon the eldritch magicks of Atlantis to guide you to the gate of the Goddess."

"He's probably making that up," said Astra.

"Ah, but I brought you here, didn't I?" said Belboz. "Now, Krissy, do you want to try this or not? You will lose nothing if you refuse--save for knowledge of the secrets of the universe."

Krissy didn't particularly care for the secrets of the universe, but she did feel that something was missing from her life. "Sure."

Belboz pulled a pot out of the pockets of his robe, then filled it with herbs and lit it on fire. A blue flame shot up into the air. Astra backed away. Oddly, no one else in the airport seemed to notice. "Ereh sdrow cigam ekaf tresni!" he intoned.

She breathed in the fumes, then immediately got sick and threw up all over Belboz. Then she collapsed to the ground...

"Owwww," said Krissy. "This is officially the worst hangover of my life." She woke up next to a road in the forest. A red-haired woman lay beside her.

2. It was a woman in a tight blue jerkin and a red-plaid miniskirt with wings [10578].
3. It was Mary Jane Watson.
