The person who had noticed was yet another beautiful woman. In
fact, most of the people at this party seemed to be beautiful and
female. Fred couldn't help but feel that he'd enjoy this party if there
weren't so many people who were trying to kill or manipulate him or
thought he was married to them.
"Andrea, no," said the new woman, who had blonde hair and blue eyes. She gently put her arms around her and pulled her away. "I'm sorry about her. She's been acting a bit odd lately." "Who... who are you?" "I'm Frederika." "I see. And you're not madly in love with me?" Frederika burst out laughing. "No, of course not. I was you." "What do you mean by that?" asked Fred, now feeling even more disconcerted. "Well, I used to be your counterpart but I was turned into a woman so that I could carry out an important quest. I've gotten used to it, though. I'm even enjoying it now." Fred's jaw dropped. What did she mean by that? Surely she couldn't be him? And why would he actually want to be a woman? This was madness! He must be still hallucinating. He had to get away!
