Face to Face

After a moment, Astra managed to recover her composure sufficiently to say: "Of course, Baroness. I'll be right down." A few seconds later, the two were standing face to face, the Baroness being one of the few women tall enough to look Astra in the eye without having to tilt up her head.

1. "So," the Baroness said, "I imagine that you would like to know what I am doing here."
2. The Baroness said: "Before I tell you what I am doing here, what are you doing here?"
3. "I am sorry to have to do this," the Baroness said. She took something from her pocket and pointed it at Astra. To Astra's surprise, she found her vision becoming suffused with red. Then she slumped unconscious to the ground.
