End of the Line

"That's weird,"Mel thought. "Why would they go to the trouble to carve this out? Maybe they started work and found out that the tunnel was no good for some reason."

Mel took a flashlight from his toolkit, and used it to search the end wall. He found something.

1. There were two words. "Gentlemen" high to the left and "Ladies" high to the right.
2. There were a couple of movie posters that had yellowed with time, but were still well-preserved.
3. There was a sign that said, "Chestnut Street" in blue and white ceramic tile, with an arrow pointing to the right.
4. Someone had scrawled, "For a good time, call 555-9635."
5. There was a small plaque that read "St. Catherine's Cemetery, Section C."
6. There was a cabinet mounted on the wall with some switches and dials.
