Jim Brightfield Introduces Himself

If there was a good place to get a cut, the Sciences tavern was such a place. The patrons and staff were able to get the cut on the intern's leg washed, sterilized with alcohol, and bandaged with clean linen.

Once the excitement was over, Fred and Starflare started to leave, but one of the patrons of the bar beckoned them over to his booth.

"Thanks for the help," said the man. He extended his hand to Fred, and gave a hearty handshake. He looked at Starflare and bowed slightly and touched his forehead, to signify a metaphorical tip of his hat to a lady. "My name is Jim Brightfield. I am one of the king's foresters. I heard you talking about the lack of wildlife."

1. "I might be able to give you some information that might be helpful to you."
2. "I dearly would like to know myself what is happening. I know it isn't poaching, and I don't think that the dragon is really the cause of the problem."
3. "You all are not planning to go hunting, are you? Because on the king's orders, hunting has been forbidden for this year."
