I find myself frowning slightly to myself as I glance up from shuffling my Tarrot card deck from where I’ve set up a table, looking at Shirou’s father as he staggers slightly (along with the other non-Heroic Spirit types) from the presentation that Medea opted on giving him and the rest of the gang here not already totally in the know.

Good on her for saving time by doing by mindspeak we magic user types (and the other Champions can manage with a dint of training) are more than capable of doing, it means that the less time spent in one place the better.

You do recall we STILL have one unaccounted Berserker Servant running around out there, right?

Let us not speak about any oddball/freak events that might have been caused by me and my sisters throwing out all those still somewhat untested/not fully explored spells we used to fight earlier. Some of them had odd side effects like extending the zone of “awakening” by WAY too much.

I mean SOMEONE out there is scrying on us right now so something is running around that shouldn’t be running about instead of locked into a time loop of sorts. They might not be friendly so operational security is the thing here, right?

They got booted awake and out of their looped behavior with when we had “booted” our newest version of Ilya’s Servant AWAY from us there near the end.

They’d been enjoying some kind of touristy visit down by the harbor walk when it had hit them. Boom, and after ringing ears they look not out to sea where the super sonic VENDING machine had punched Berserker.

No, they had to look instead BACK the way the vending machine had come and saw US with at least one Ilya. Mistook us as kidnapper or some such and Ilya’s mum losing it and attempted to “mother bear” us with Saber Zero in tow…

Fair dues, I can TOTALLY understand the sentiment but still having her attack us with some kinds of glowing magic birds made of matrix lines? Especially after her Servant going down from some kind of doppelganger/analog reaction backlash? That would have ended badly for her if we’d been the fiends she’d feared kidnapping her: we would have killed her then and there!

Lord, thank YOU dearly for letting us FINALLY give this group a proper briefing (albeit one done by mental communication vice verbally). Now after we take care of this ONE pressing matter here since we so VERY do not want to give away information that could THREATEN the lives of certain wayward sisters of Ilya that will be when we can go and START looking for them throw scrying and . . .
