"Yes, just as I thought. He'll be fine, but he really should get some medical attention. Preferably in comfortable, familiar surroundings, don't you think?" He flashed the rest of them a mischevious grin.

"You mean like in, oh, say, his TARDIS, maybe?" Stacy grinned back.

"My, what a good idea. Let's get this poor chap home shall we?" There was a twinkle in his eye.

"Sheesh," said Betty-1. "I don't believe you guys."

The Doctor simply gave her an innocent look (or at least, something vaguely like an innocent look), as he and Stacy each placed a hand under one of the Master's armpits and began dragging him in the direction of his TARDIS.

1. Unfortunately, they got a nasty shock when the arrived at the place where his TARDIS had been...
2. They found it fairly quickly, and a cursory search of the Master's pockets provided them with the key.
